Emergency Department

The Emergency Department at Saint Anthony Hospital. Always open, in your own community.

We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, staffed around-the-clock with qualified board-certified emergency medicine physicians and expert staff to care for patients of all ages.

Emergency Medical Services for Children

Our team is equipped to handle a wide range of illnesses and injuries, minor to complex, any time of day. We care for an average of 38,000 patients a year in our Emergency Department.

We are also an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP) by the Illinois Department of Public Health, with capabilities to meet emergency and critical care needs of seriously ill and injured children.

For non-life-threatening events, our Urgent Care Center in Brighton Park on Kedzie Avenue has a certified physician on-site and offers extended operating hours with less wait time.

Our Urgent Care Center treats work-related injuries, insect bites, cold/flu symptoms, minor wounds, sprains/strains, earaches, sore throats, broken bones, moderate burns and many other common injuries and illnesses with X-rays on-site.
